Chosen to house a new research and development center
for the Atlantic Richfield Company, this 312 acre suburban
site was formerly an exclusive boarding school. Existing
landscape elements included a green park, abandoned
farmland, and a wooded ravine and stream corridor. The
scope of work involved pedestrian and vehicular circulation
and parking, landscape design for swales and storm detention
basins, planting, pedestrian pavements, and the maintenance
and replanting of the existing landscape. Olin Partnership
prepared a detailed site assessment, rehabilitation,
a long range maintenance plan and program, participated
in site planning and provided design and contract documentation
for all landscape elements. |
