Bishopsgate, London, UK

In designing Bishopsgate, Olin Partnership integrated a transportation node with mixed-use development in an entirely new way. The Bishopsgate development is above, and adjacent to, several rail yards affiliated with Liverpool Street Rail Station. Its development during the 1980s was truly an experiment in creating usable space out of a post-industrial site. Bishopsgate now serves as a complex urban transportation node - providing open space that remains a framework for future development in the area.
