Wagner Park, New York City, New York

Robert F. Wagner, Jr. Park was the last, largest open space left in the Battery Park City Development when Olin Partnership started work on its design. The concept was to take this land, which is fill and served as docklands along the Hudson River, and turn it into an open space that seamlessly integrated the concepts of Park and Garden. The formal structure of the design is reflective of a deconstructed garden, where traditional forms are used in entirely new ways.
